Juula Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the Juula app. By using Juula, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy (https://juula.app/privacy-policy) explains how we handle your data.
1. Using Juula
You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login safe. Please give accurate information, so your targets and reports are useful.
2. Not medical advice
Juula helps you track food and see nutrition information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor or dietitian. Talk to a health professional before making big changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have had an eating disorder.
3. Estimates
Calories and nutrients are estimates. Results from photos, voice and descriptions can be wrong, so please check them before you save. Restaurant dishes may differ from what you're served; always ask the restaurant about allergies.
4. Juula Premium
Premium is a monthly or yearly subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel it in your store settings. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. What's included in the free plan and in Premium, including daily limits, may change over time.
5. Your content
You own what you add, such as your food logs, recipes and photos. You allow us to store and use it to run Juula, as described in our Privacy Policy. In groups and public profiles, don't post anything illegal, hateful, or private about someone else. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Our app
Juula, its food database, design and content belong to us. Don't copy or resell them, try to extract our data or source code, or misuse the service, for example by scraping it or getting around limits.
7. Ads and restaurant offers
Free users may see promotions and sponsored content. Restaurant offers come from the restaurants, which are responsible for honoring them.
8. Changes and availability
We may update, change or stop features, and we may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new date. Some features need an internet connection, and your mobile data charges may apply.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or at https://juula.app/delete-data. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
10. Liability
Juula is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on information in the app.
